Ingredients

  • 250g Président Camembert
  • 300g buckwheat flour
  • 10g coarse salt
  • 70cl water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 red apples
  • 50g Président slightly-salted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the flour with the coarse salt together in a bowl.

Step 2

Pour in the water in a steady stream while whisking until you get a smooth, consistent batter.

Step 3

In the meantime, melt half the Président Camembert (after removing the rind) and add to your mixture.

Step 4

Melt the Président butter in a pan and brown the apples after quartering them, with the skin left on.

Step 5

When you are ready to serve, oil your crêpe pan and add a ladleful of batter. Once one side has browned, turn over.

Step 6

Decorate the middle of the pancake with the cooked apple quarters and a generous chunk of Président Camembert.

Step 7

Serve piping hot.
