Tartine Croquante

1. Peel the apple and cut it into small pieces. Put them in a blender, add water and blend. Pour the mix into a small casserole dish, add the oil and the mustard.
2. Cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes until all the water is gone – it will make a nice apple chutney – you know it’s ready when all the ingredients are well mixed together and it looks like jam - leave aside.
3. With a brush (or fingers), delicately cover the top of the crackers with a bit of black treacle.
4. With a spoon make a small quenelle shape with the chutney.
Cut the Président® Brie into slices and delicately put them on the top of the chutney.
5. Share with your friends, Avec Plaisir.


To slice, put the blade of your knife under hot water before cutting your cheese. It will help to make nice slices.
